I'm praying for a snow day, being a teacher is just like being a kid! I could definetely use a snow day to relax tomorrow, although dh has to go to the Uof M tomorrow afternoon and that could be an icky drive

Our teachers still have to go in on snow days. They do like them either way b/c then they can get caught up. My sister works for the ST paul public schools and she was sooo mad she found out she has to go in on snow days unless it is specified that staff is included.

Actually dh publishes a sports website, so he had to go there for the first spring football practice and they closed down the whole university, but still had practice, go figure. We don't have to go in if it is snow day, we actually got out early today, but it only ended up being about 40 min early since we had to wait until the buses finished taking in the high schoolers home. I could have gone home because I don't have a 5th period class, but I covered for a guy in my department who has a really long drive so he could leave.
