Playing sports makes kids smarter!

Ask:
I took this from the March 5, 2007 issue of First for Women:

This is from James M. Pivarnik, PhD., who found that kids who play sports have higher grades than those who don't. The reason: Physical activity that requires children to engage in a goal-oriented game improves focus, a skill that translates to better school performance.

So what do ya'll think about that?
Answer:

That's great news. Plus you have to maintain a certain GPA to play in sports in the first place. Kids who play sports are also less likely to do drugs.
