Pacifier Problems

Ask:
I have 4 month old twin boys who cannot go to sleep without a pacifier, which I don't mind at all. But it falls out of their mouth in the middle of the night and they start crying for it. So I wake up about every hour or 2 to put it back in their mouth. I have tried just talking to them and patting them but that doesnt help at all!! I even still swaddle them to keep the pacifier in their mouth but it doesnt last long cus they break free. They sleep through the night and I would love to sleep through the night too. Any suggestions?
Answer:

I used to say I wished they had velcro you could put on their cheeks and velcro the pacis to their face!! I don't what to tell you, other than I have gone through six with pacis...and I so know how you feel. Also, once they start rolling over some, it WILL get easier. One thing that helped us once they reached that stage was to put a half dozen or MORE pacis in the bed so that no matter what way they rolled, they could "find" one!!!
Answer:

I was going to say the same thing as Blessed with 6. Pretty soon they will be big enough to put it back in their own mouths. I still have to get up occasionally and find a nukkie for my 2.5 yr old grandson!!!
Answer:

so at around how old will they be until they can grab it on their own? i know age varies between babies but roughly. they have no problem finding it in their mouth and taking it out ....not purposely that is.
Answer:

Were they full term babies, and are they on the right age track now? If so, most of my kids rolled around easily by five months. I had one that was delayed because of being a preemie. He didn't roll at all until 9 1/2 months.
Answer:

They were full term babies for twins, 37 weeks. They have been on track on everything. I had one twin roll over already but doesnt do it that often. I guess I will wait it out another month or so. Thanks!!
