That time of the year is just around the corner (or already here for some of us). What is on your to-do list for Spring Cleaning?
In the house I want to:
take down all curtains and wash them
wash windows
wash walls and use magic eraser on tough spots
touch up paint where needed
organize closets and storage areas
wash on top of doors, door frames, window frames
clean top of refrigerator
clean all ceiling fans
scrub fireplaces
organize stuff to sell/donate
clean ceilings and corner areas for cobwebs
That's a start to my list, anyway. What about you?

You are going to be a busy bee this spring. I just do well to keep my house half way picked up and clean. I need to start doing these things though. I was just in my kitchen and took a plate off of the wall, up high, near the ceiling and I could not believe how dirty it was around it - you can see exactly where that plate has been hanging!!! And I looked at my ceiling and it is going to have to be painted!!! THIS SPRING!!!!! GEEZ!!! This spring might be a good time to redo my kitchen. The only problem is I love it the color that it is - YELLOW - but the wallpaper has a few bad places in it. Something to think about!!! Keep us posted on what all you get done!!! Maybe it will encourage me to get moving!!'

My List is to:
*Clean all windows inside and out & put screens back in
*Wash down walls in kitchen and living room
*Possibly paint the kitchen...time for a change
*BIGGEST ONE is to get the basment dejunked...that is where all the things we don't want but dont wanna throw away go...... it needs help
*Clean ALL Carpets with my mothers personal carpet scrubber*that is my fav. part I love fresh carpet*

I'm one of those crazies who does it all....walls ,windows,ceilings to floor boards.
I started a week ago and my kitchen is done...I also completely update my organization as I go...(i'm a clean freak and an organizing junkie)
also got laundry room done,computer room and comp room closet.
YIPPEE....and in amongst that managed to organize and clean my Moms kitchen,kitchen pantry and bedroom closet(I think she loves me )

I can tell you are a Gemini like me. I am itching to get started too. I am already listing my Mom and my Aunts lists on my to do list to!! I start tomorrow!! And I am really excited myself. I love the feeling of the spring, the new smells, the clean smell, and also sometimes finding goodies you even forgot you had! I can't wait!

Hmmm... on my 'to do' list for 'spring cleaning' is...
1. Floorboards - use a toothbrush where they get dusty/gunky...
2. Paint the main bathroom - Going to go with a baby blue!!

I rip the entire room apart and clean everything- ceiling to floor (I even will scrub the carpets)- I go through every single piece of whatever is in the room and delegate where it will go (trash, keep, donate, sell). I had a bit of a jumpstart this year- my girls rooms and the bathroom is already done. Next is the kitchen (really needs going through badly!), livingroom (which I think besides the bathroom is the easiest) and the last room is my own. My room is by far the worst room- well my closet on my DH side- he stores the weirdest things in there.
I must admit I love spring cleaning- I would love it more if it lasted longer!
