Ask:
OK so heres the deal I have all of these empty formula cans is there anything that I can make with them? I use to be creative and inventive but not so much anymore! I know all of you ladies are super creative and always have such cute projects...any ideas would be great!
Answer:
I don't know how tall they are, but if you have something pretty (peppermint sticks, crayons, ??something) you could stand up on the outside of it and hot glue them on, then tie a coordinating color ribbon (??or something else??) and VOILA a pretty decorative can. Do I make any sense?
Answer:
You can decorate the outside with paper, paint, whatever, and make flower pots out of them. Assuming they are the big cans of the powder fomula.
Answer:
I used old formula cans for candles. My sister was having a 4th of July party. So I took them painted them white, than made strips of red and blue. I also took a stamp and put stars on. I took my DH drill bit and made little holes around the stars. They turned out really really cute. I took some of the smaller cans and painted the up to go with the candles and used them for the silverware holders. She put them all out on the picnic tables.
At night the candle looked so cool!!
Answer:
You can adhere patterned paper around the can and decorate it with stickers or other embellishments. I have made similar containers into crayon holders for my boys. I turned a metal pencil holder last night into a pretty container for pens and scissors, just using fabric strips and a silk flower bud.
