Ask:
I have 4 mos twin boys and i work from home. I have enough work to keep busy all week like having a real 9-5 job, not to mention take care of all 3 boys. I work when they sleep during the day and in the afternoon my MIL comes to help me out taking care of the kids so I can work then. I have to work all day and sometimes feel guilty because I am not with them trying to stimulate their little brains and when I'm done working its time to make dinner and by that time its time for them to eat and go to bed. I read to them in the mornings and put on a little Baby Einstien for them so I can eat and throw in a little tummy time but still feel that they need more stimulation. I know they can get overstimulated. But I feel bad when I put them in their swings or exersaucer so that I can relax a little. Should I feel guilty or is that enough stimulation for their brains? Should I just not worry about it too much? Let me add I'm bilingual so I speak to them only in Spanish and my DH speaks to them in English.
Answer:
It sounds like you're doing your best. Try not to feel bad.
Answer:
Oh, try not to torture yourself. We as mother's are constantly worrying that we are not doing things right. Take it from me, I am #1 on the list of worry warts. I think what you are doing is great! You are a hard worker and it sounds like a great mother! Keep your head up!
