Has anyone been able to start yet?

It still pretty cold up here in the northeast! I won't get to start anything till after May 1. Has anyone else been able to start anything yet??

since we have so much snow, its gonna be hopefuly the end of may that we can start ours. just have to wait for the yard to dry up, but we have been having some gorgeous weather and i hope it sticks around so that the snow can melt and the ground can dry up a bit.

Several people have started around by us...I think DH is going to do clean-up tomorrow of all the flower beds and get the lawn ready...but he'll probably will wait until next week before he starts seeding and planting

We are still under a fair amount of snow here too. I am thinking that for us, I won't be able to get started until late April - Mid May.

I usually put the garden in on the Tuesday after Memorial Day...rarely earlier as it just isn't warm enough otherwise. I have started some herbs inside that I can't wait to start nibbling off!!

Our snow is almost all melted finally! We can see daffodils, hyacinths and tulips just beginning to poke through last year's mulch! We can't plant anything new here until around Mother's Day....mid-May.

My daffodils are out of the ground now, about 4inches!! They have been coming up for about a month, its too funny. HOpefully they bloom this year!
