Budget Casseroles that Freeze well...

Ask:
hello, i was wondering if anyone had any links or ideas for any casseroles, stews, meatless meals or anything like that which i can make in large batches and freeze for later use? seems like the ones i have tried have not frozen well, so any tips would be great!
Answer:

I make baked ziti, chicken pot pie, meatballs (when hamburg is on sale) along with salisbury steak patties, lasgna. They all freez great and when items are on sale they are quite frugal.

Also, if you make pancakes/waffles/muffins in bulk and freeze they save on money as well. My DH loves the egg sandwiches I make and freeze .... cost probably about 50 cents each to make with whole wheat english muffins probably about 30 cents with the white english muffins.
If you need any recipes let me know

If you could give us the recipes for salisburty steak patties and baked ziti? Also, how do you freeze your egg sandwiches. The store ones are nasty and it gets costly going to McD's for them. Thanks in advance!
Answer:

Potato Casserolle

Slice potatos into thin slices (like scalloped, maybe a bit thicker!).
Place in casserolle dish.
Pour cream of mushroom soup over potatos, and mix through potatos. (If you have a large family, using a lot of potatos, use a LARGE can of soup for this!)
OPTIONAL....add in cut up kilbasa sausage or little weiners
Sprinkle top liberally with grated cheddar cheese.
Bake at 350 for one hour or until potatos are tender.
This does NOT freeze well if made and put in freezer before being cooked!! I usually make two dishes of it...one for dinner that night, and one for the next dinner!!!!!
Answer:

Enchiladas seem to freeze well- can do chicken, black bean & corn, cheese, etc.
