Ask:
How do you get your kids to stop munching all day and eat at meal time? I am having the biggest fights with my 4 yr old to get her to not eat all day long. I want her to eat at meal time and then have maybe a snack mid morning and mid afternoon. It seems like everytime I turn around she's grabbing an apple, granola bar, cheese, etc. It's not the food she's eatting really it's that she's always eating. Am I wrong to want her to stop munching all the time? It just drives me nuts that she's always eating something and half the time not finishing anything.
Answer:
try setting a schedule. i had to do that with my 2 1/2 year old our goes as such. wake up breakfast within a half hour of rising(they like to chill for alittle while)
10 am snack time
12-12:30 is lunch time
3pm snack time
5-6pm dinner
it took alot of saying no it will be snack time at 10 to get him to realize he could not just eat and snack all day.. i do offer plenty of water and activities i think he was just bored because now we have no issues anymore.

I have mine of the same time schedule. It is not always easy to stick to but it has helped a lot. If I tell her no its not snack time she will keep asking me if its time yet but atleast she waits until I say its time. I think a lot of it has to do with boredum but I cant entertain her 24/7.
