Ask:
For those of you who have this, how do you keep stuff from sticking..
A friend gave me a full set of this, only used a couple times and even though dh just bought me a set of non-stick last year, , i'd really like to go with the copper bottomed 'cause they're supposed to be the best.
Any tips on how to get the most out of this cookware... ? And most of all.. how to make sure food doesn't stick! lol!
Answer:
My first set of pots and pans when I got married was Reverware, copper bottomed, stainless steel and it served me well for many many many years. I'm mostly converted to al-clad stainless right now. I actually don't have anything that is 'nonstick'...but I've never had a problem with anything sticking in my stainless steel. Maybe you're cooking on too high of heat? Not using spray or oil? Hard to say without more specifics...there is nothing to 'do' to the stainless to keep things from sticking, it's not a nonstick surface...kwim?
