Tied ribbon flip flops

Ask:
These are so cute to match the bows everyone is making. I made these to match a korker bow that I made for bonna9182's daughter...I'm sending her the flip flops to match. I got the flip flops on sale half off at Hobby Lobby last week ($1 per pr. for adults' and $.75 per pr. for children's!!) and the ribbon is just what I've already had for quite some time now.

It's pretty simple...just tie ribbon in knots and leave the ends sticking out...heat seal the ends of any ribbon that might fray. I didn't tie ribbon all the way to the sole of the flip flop because I thought it might be uncomfortable to have the ribbon knots under her feet. These are royal blue and white...the royal doesn't show up really well though.

Answer:

There is absolutely NO reason anybody cannot do these...it has nothing to do with creativity... I saw the idea and knew if I could tie knots, I could make these flip flops...and anyone else can too!! I think they're cute and boutique'ish...I bet they get sold for several dollars a pair in boutiques!!

They are super cute!! I make them using fun fur yarn and wrap around. (My aunt works at Hobby Lobby, so she gets to take any yarn they are throwing away)
