or are you nesting now? When did it start? does it ever stop? I just can not keep myself from organizing - it is driving me crazy. Granted I have like 10 people threating to come visit after this baby is born and most have never seen the house, so I am being anal and want it to look nice. Now I am being careful and not going overboard but every day I seem to find something new to work on. Today it was the hall closet - it is now a linen closet - everything used once a year is moved to the basement and shampoos and medicines are organized. tomorrow I am emptying the closet that will be the babies and I am hoping to start to move the office to its new home so Chris can paint soon.
Ahhh will this stop. I still have 4 months till we are do. 6/29/07.
how do I make it stop - yeah like I will - I am so anal about having the house a certain way before people come see it.

LOL!! I've been like this since New Years Eve.. lol! I've purged/decluttered/organized my entire place.. I'm due in a month, and am ready to go! My place is the cleanest it's EVER been.. lol! This is my 4th so i'm hoping that all this 'nesting' i've been doing will make life easier after the baby shows up...
I don't have to worry about unexpected company now either 'cause my place is always clean.. it's a great feeling! I say just go with it, if you start feeling like you're doing too much, then slow down and relax for a bit...

I have been doing nothing but cooking, cleaning, and just plan old organizing for about a month now, but it is really kicking in. I think it ends when you get too fat to do anything I am three weeks away from delivering and it is getting to the point where I am nesting but I am having to say "Hey Hunny--can you vaccuum and mop that?!"

With my first I had some complications towards the end of my pregnancy and was on partial bedrest so I didn't nest then (and actually don't remember ever wanting to). However, with my 2nd, I did most of my nesting at work! My co-workers thought it was funny because I was cleaning and organizing like crazy.

I just started and i'm due 6/13/07! This past week I overhauled and cleaned out both of my kids rooms! When I was done i had 4 large bags of stuff for goodwill and boy did their rooms look clean! I've also been vacuuming more and am eager to do laundry...what's up w/that? With my other 2 I didn't nest until about 6-8 weeks before!
