Ok, so for me, the first meal after going through labor is a really big deal! After my first I immediately sent DH to McDonalds for a Big Mac Meal, and a vanilla shake. With my second, I actually sent DH to a chicken place while in labor because I wanted a chicken and fry basket so badly and didnt want it to be closed by the time I was done! After 22+ hours of labor I am always really hungry. I have heard you can't eat right after a C-section but I am leaning towards that chicken basket again...

After all 3 of my girls my husband went out and got ponzarottis from a local pizza place. They are like calzones with whatever toppings you want inside and lots of cheese. So Yummy!

No one told me to make sure I ate before going to the hospital, and I so wish I did, because they wouldn't let me. How in the Hedoublell are we supposed to keep our strength up??

I had both boys mid morning so I had the hospital food Cheeseburger, fries wth the first and a chicken sandwhich with the second! My hospital had the best darn Apple Pie EVER! It was nice because dh was also allowed 1 meal a day! lol

After my first son was born i had a delicious turkey dinner. Turkey, mashed potatoes and veggies....with gravy. The hospital was brand new and the food was wonderful.
I don't even remember eating after my second son was born. I was too worried about him.
