Coffee and Fast Food Gone!!

Ask:
I am soooo proud of myself...ok this may be pathetic to most of you who have been posting here a long time, but I haven't had any fast food or my Mocha Latte since last Friday! I have to say I was getting bad! It seemed to be routine that I would drop dd off at school in the morning, swing by Saxby's and grab my latte for $4.00 then head home to clean, etc... I didn't examine it closely at $4 per day, but after running reports in Quicken, boy did I feel so gulity! What a financial drain that is, and when I think that I could have put all of the money I spent on coffee toward some debt...ick!!! It is so empowering when a lesson is presented to us! It feels really good to know that I can walk away from it, and that I do not need it!! I just wanted to share with you all! Wish me luck over the next month! Hopefully I won't fall off the wagon!
Answer:

Answer:

Good for you! Think of the money you'll save by just doing this one small thing. You'll also be healthier if you stay away from junk food. When I went cold turkey it was to better my health, and boy the benefits financially have been tremendous!
Keep it up!
Answer:

Girl I know just what ya mean....we only have Tim Hortons here in our town and those iced capucchinos really started adding up...check out the recipe section here...there's some great coffee drinks listed...don't do without-just make your own,I do and theyre just as good!!!
Answer:

Good job! I'm not a coffee drinker but I defintely need to work on my take out food habit. The other day errands ran late and we ended up spend $35 on chinese takeout. I need to get a few emergency meals in the freezer stat.
Answer:

Definitely, my health is going to improve, I honestly feel better already...not perfect, but better, I have more energy. For awhile there I felt like I was living the sequel to Supersize ME! Not quite as drastic, but you get what I mean! I will definitely check out the recipe section and I think with time I should be able to tweak a latte to my liking right in my own home!!
