Putting shrinkables in the dryer

Ask:
If something is made out of a 100% cotton or even part cotton I will hang it to dry instead of putting them in the dryer so it won't shrink.

Heres the question..
After the item has been washed over and over and hung to dry do you think eventually it could go in the dryer without shrinking?

Oh and how can you prevent the necks on shirts from getting stretched out from washing?
Answer:

I put everything in the dryer and have never had a problem with shrinking.
Answer:

Hi,
I put almost everything into the dryer - only exceptions are polyester football jerseys, bras and tights.
ANYTHING 100% cotton goes on full blast in my home - I'd never get stuff dry otherwise.

If you're worried about shrinkage I would try the lower heat setting.
