I don't cook a Sunday Dinner but our Nana Pat does and is it ever a spread. My family has gotten so use to it that I will probably have to start if she ever stops!!! They look forward to this all week. I think it is fantatsic that we get to have this family time. It is a running joke that someone has to move or die for you to get a place at the Sunday Dinner table. My aunt Pat is known all over all county as a fantastic cook, I have even had a couple of ladies from school ask if she was still doing her big spreads!!!! I think they were hinting they would like an inviation!!!

Sunday dinners at my 2 grandmas every other Sunday! When I got married we did it mainly with dhs parents. Now I only do a couple of times a month. I hope to host the Sunday dinner when my boys are older and have kids of their own!

We don't live near any family, I wish we did so we could have big Sunday dinners! I make something special on Sundays about 2x a month. It is usually DH's only day off so I usually make steaks or shrimp.

Right now with the kids being so young it is hard to have a good Sunday dinner, the hour at church with them wears me out!! But I plan on having them in the future. when I feel capable of handling it.
