Snowboarding, again!

Ask:
Well after several Maxolts for the migraines and many tylenols this morning my DH got me out to Targhee for the Bud spring games. It is a fun day for the family with a kids race and an adult race also. I also drank several beers and felt more relaxed than I had in days.

Here I am in the giant slalom course.

I don't ladies, I felt like I was fast but we didn't stay to find out if I got beat. I did race DH in the morning and was on his tail. He was on his skis and he is fast.

Cure for the headace? Lot's of meds, several dark beers and good race.

Thank you for caring so much about me!!!

Oh, your pics are awesome! You make me very nostalgic for spring skiing. I haven't been on my skis in 11 years - my ex-husband was a ski instructor in Crested Butte and we used to ski every day. Unfortunately he turned out to be a major jacka$$ and when I left him I also left my skiing days behind. When my boys get a little older I want to start taking them out west so they can learn to ski too. I grew up skiing and there just is not anything like that feeling. All the senses are engaged and you feel so close to nature.

Those pics of Hunter are so precious. I know you are proud! Isn't it nice when they can excel in a sport and leave the daily challenges behind for a bit. My nephew that is autistic lives at the beach and swims like a fish. He has been swimming on his own since he was 2. When he gets in the water he is a sight to behold! It is his favorite thing in the world to do.
