organized kids craft stuff

Ask:
I bought one those storage containers with the 3 clear pull out drawers. Top drawer is play dough and various play dough things like cookie cutters. Second drawer is markers, crayons, glue, stamps, and stamp pads (all in separate containers). Bottom drawer is coloring books, construction paper, and blank sheets of paper. It looks so much more organized then before.
Answer:

Hey! Me too (sort of), but I bought the 7-drawer cart. It includes a drawer for each: white paper, colored/construction paper, coloring books, play dough/clay, misc. supplies (like pom pons, wiggle eyes, pipe cleaners, toilet paper rolls, etc.) and finally, paint supplies.

Ha! And I thought I was the only one who was super organized to such a silly degree!
Answer:

I have one of those too. But since I have so much junk the three drawers are filled, and I keep those plastic shoebox things on top that are filled with pencils, markers, scissors, etc.
Answer:

Thanks for inspiring me! I had one of the single stackable drawers for playdough and when I was at Meijer noticed they were on sale, so I bought two more - one for markers/ crayons and one for paper/ coloring books. Looks much better and I can easily put them away in the pantry if I don't want them sitting out!!!
Answer:

We have one of those too...filled with the same stuff all of DD's craft stuff. I also set up a "craft" corner for her. She has a table and then I took the little white bins (with holes in them) and attached them to the walls beside the table with crayons in one, markers in another, and glue etc in the other... I also put a clear acrylic (suppose to be for magazines) rack on the wall beside it and put paper in it for her. Then I put one of those coated white wire rack things like what you might hang ties on but it's shorter (and not for ties) and her scissors (she has several) some w/ dekel (sp?) edges to them all hang on that...so everything is right there when she needs it...it looks great, fun and organized!
