I always get pms about preschool homeschooling with a baby so here is a little advicesomewhat taken from an email i just sent out)
I am in no way stuctured anymore since I am nursing now. But I do put out an activity for my 3 and 2 year old to do while I feed my baby or i read to them while I am nursing, but my 2 year old won't stay for more than one book before he runs off. I don't have time to write alot right now, but I do have my preschool homeschooling website (which I haven't finished or updated since Jenna was born) . Check it out, the resources page with tons of website links is helpful. There is also a worksheet of daily activies check that out too. Most important thing is not to go overboard b/c they are too young and it actually slows there learning down when they are older if you go too fast now, and to mix up activities. Like if you spend some time reading then go outside and play so your 2 year old can run around, then come in for snack, then block time, then an art activity whether it is simple playdoh or painting or crafts. Just mix up active play in between activities that require an attention span. My baby is normally nursing, in her swing or sleeping when I play with my two toddlers. They learn through play, so get down and play with them! I'll write more later, gotta go nurse (the story of my live

Thanks for all the information. After your first reply I thought that I replied but I must have not hit a button. DH really wants her to go to preschool but I think I can do as good of a job at home. I do want to do some sort of a christian program. I already do a lot of the playing and doing different things with her now. I do also have some cheap book that I got at walmart that has tear out pages with a lot of learning things that I have already been doing with her all summer. I will check out the website. Thanks again.
Answer:
For a christian based program (if you are wanting some structure) here I what I FEEL are the best for pre-k. Sonlight Pre-k and BFRIAR Before five in a row. But you CAN do just as good of job at home as a preschool, just make sure you have some outings or extra activities for the socialization. Lots of art, music, puzzles, blocks, reading, free play, dress up and imaginary play. You don't really need a curriculum as this age, but Sonlight prek is great.
