Since we moved into our new house in November we now have the pleasure of having a dining room so we all eat together around the dining room table. it's really nice. We do this occassionaly for breakfast on the weekends but during the week, the kids eat breakfast in the kitchen - that table is set for only seating two.

Finally got a dining/kitchenette set I like and we all eat there, it is hectic but we are all together, I like that!

Kitchen table most of the time...if we're doing fondu or something like that, we'll sit around the coffee table in the family room. If we have people over or are celebrating something, we sit at the dining room table.

The reason I posted this poll was to prove to dh that "normal" people eat at the table. He always insists on eating in the livingroom! We have a very nice diningroom that I would love to use more often....the trouble is that I'm outvoted all the time. (The kids, of course love eating in front of the tv!) I hate it!

DH and I both agreed before we married that all meals are eaten at the table with the TV off. (we are not big fans of TV in general) We both love having uninterrupted time to sit and eat together.

We eat at the table too. However sometimes the tv is on. I usually try to remember to turn it off so we can have a peaceful dinner and talk.
