I'm really sad, I'm not ready to even think about sending my baby to kindergarten. To top it all off, it's full day kindergarten starting this fall when she'll go. I guess it's a right of passage for her, but it's like losing my baby to me. She doesn't turn 5 untl July, so she'll be a young one in her class. I wish I could say she wasn't ready and keep her home another year, but her preschool teacher says she's ready and will do great. I guess that's a plus, but I'm still a little sad. It seems like yesterday I sent my oldest to kindergarten and she'll be in 3rd grade next fall when the youngest starts kindergarten. Time just goes by too fast. It's only 5 months untl August when the new school year starts here and my baby will be off to kindergarten.

It is hard! It seems to be a necessary evil. i cried all the way home on my ds first day, he came home smiling and had a lot of fun so I know it was all good! to you.

I feel your pain, my ds's KG "round-up" is TODAY!!! We have an appt. at noon!! He only goes for 2 & 1/2 days though. I'm still gonna miss him!! He'll be a big boy and ride the bus, pack a lunch, Oh My!! I hope I don't cry when he gets onthe bus for the 1st time!!
