So excited, I did something frugal!

Ask:
Ok, this sounds sooooo simple and obvious and not really that much of a big deal, but for me it is.

Tuesday I made French Dip sandwiches in the crockpot. I put the extra meat in a container, strained another container of au jus... and started to dispose of the rest. It was almost to late when I swear it was like a light blub popped on over my head. I poured the rest, little meat bits, onions and all into another container and put it in the deep freezer to try to make beef stew with it in the future. I'm so proud of myself, I feel silly!
Answer:

:high five: good for you! My new frugal thing is I stopped buying paper towels. I do have a few napkins that have accumulated from carry out. I get a few paper bags from the grocery store to use for draining bacon and such and use towels for everything else. I know sounds silly.
Answer:

That is not silly. That is really thinking.Yeah for you!!!
Answer:

that is totally cool and you should be proud of yourself ....2 seconds to stop and think before you dump something down the drain will always save you money!!!

I even save the juice from canned fruit, add a little water and make popsicles...or make ice cubes and add to other juice drinks or use to flavor ice teas and such.

I add maraschino cherry juice cubes to lemonade too.

Answer:

Yeah for you!! I like that fruit juice idea too! I always just dump it! What was I thinking??
