I have one end table and not coffe table. They take up too much space and are not necessary!

The hubster and I always used a coffee table, but once Kat started walking we put it in storage. There's more room in the living room for her to run around and I don't have to worry about her hurting herself on it. Plus, the hubster and I are stackers. If there's an available surface, we'll stack stuff on it. I haven't missed our coffee table one bit.

We have a coffee table but no end tables. When my dd was little, we stored the coffee table elsewhere because she was learning to walk and I had visions of her slamming her head against the thing. We brought the coffee table back out when she turned 2 and was better on her feet.
Lately I've been considering getting rid of the coffee table again. It has a tendancy to be a clutter magnet for my dd and I'm sick of seeing her piles of stuff on it. Plus, she's marked up the surface pretty good with markers, so it doesn't look very nice anymore.

We have a coffee table, but no end tables. My kids use the one in the family room as a game table/art table. When they get older I want to get one of those big leather square bench looking coffee tables that you can sit on. It would get ruined if I had one know.

We don't have either. Well, I have a small table (about 8 inches deep and 2 feet wide) that is near the couch. It has a bookshelf in the bottom part of it and I put my book on top if I have to set it down to do something, or whatnot. Other than that, we don't have the room for anything else.

We don't have either. DH is afraid that the kids will hurt themselves on it, especially the one year old. I would love to get both and one of those square ones would be great...I don't know what age the kids quit ruining things like that. The only problem with not having one is that there is no place to put drinks and DH has spilled more than his share!!

I am down to 1 end table (It is the kind with the lamp built onto it and a magazine rack underneath) and a coffee table. I'd like ot get rid of the coffee table b/c it is a clutter magnet, but DH and I both like ot have drinks in the Living room and I have to have it near me (The end table isn't near my seat on the couch). Plus the table is an antique and the top spins, so it is pretty cool. I just wish we could keep the junk from piling up on it.

Nope I don't have either. In reality we did away with the coffee table we had when my youngest d.s. was learning how to walk, hit his head on it and got a big bruise. Plus the apartment is too small and this would only ad to the clutter.
