Ask:
You have NO idea what an accomplishment this is for me. My room is always the LAST room. I have six kids (four bedrooms between them), and a whole lot of other house to always clean first. Add in laundry, cooking, errand running, etc., and my poor bedroom takes last place in cleaning/organization! This week, though, when I got into my spring cleaning mode, I decided that I woudl work on MY bedroom FIRST! And, I DID IT!!!! I have everything cleaned out, organized, and put in the RIGHT place!!! Even my scrapbooking desk/area is under control. I feel so much stress has been lifted..and even though I didn't change the sheets yet, when I layed down in my MADE bed last night, it felt so crisp and relaxing. Isn't it funny how the simple things in life can make us feel so much better!?!?
Answer:
That is GREAT!! And I know what you mean...I just did this with my bedroom a few weeks ago, for the same reason...it always comes last. I can honestly say, that my room took the term..."dust bunnies" ....to a whole new level!!
Answer:
That's great!! My room is always a mess too (but then again, so is my entire house!)
Answer:
That's great!!
I need to start doing that!
Answer:
Okay ,so I can expect you here at what time Good for you! Sometimes you juast have to put yourself first, even if it's in the cleaning schedule!
Answer:
Good job! When you start another room RESIST THE URGE to stick random things you aren't sure what to do with into your newly cleaned & organized bedroom. I'm bad about doing that!
Answer:
Good for you!! I will be cleaning the house in a whirlwind tonight. I guess you inspired me!
Answer:
WOW!! I'm impressed! I also always clean my bedroom last. I usually just clean the main level if I'm hurried (or lazy ) and try to get the kids to do their bedrooms and bathroom...of course that's another story. BUt I NEVER seem to get to my bedroom since I always think it's more important to clean what others will see. I have a treadmill in my bedroom that the whole bottom is covered with junk. I need to have you send some motivation over my way. Good job!
Answer:
That's great!! I need to do this to my room also. I think that I still have maternity clothes in the drawers & my baby is 23 months old. Time to box them up!! I need to work on my kids rooms first. They grow soooo fast that I need to weed out the clothes in their drawers & closets that they can not wear anymore. DD has way too many toys & her closet & room are ridiculous!!! She is becoming a pack rat!!!
Answer:
That is a HUGE accomplishment! I'm pretty impressed!!! Great job! I plan on getting to our room someday, too. I'm with you that it is always the last on the list. Way to go!
