Ask:
I love reading with my kids and I have a weakness for buying books under 50 cents! Therefore, we have quite a few books, and a small house. The kids love reading and looking at books and we have a small bookshelf, but it only looks organized for about 10 minutes at a time. What method for storing books do you use? I want the books to be very easily accesible, but look pretty too! Any tips would be great!
Answer:
I got a pretty red basket for free- it is very big and square, and books look great piled up in it. I also rotate out seasonal books. Right now I have all the fall/Xmas books put away in a closet. When I bring them out next fall, they will be like new again.
Also, any book that *I* really don't like (the story, the language, the pictures) goes. I don't keep books that I feel add little of value to our collection.
Answer:

Answer:
I use platic dish pans I bought for like 3.00 at the store. I put the books upright in them and then the kids can flip through them to find the titile they like (often the title is hard to see on the spine, especially if your kids cannot read). It has worked wonders.
