my new one that is requested often by family is Spinach salad just add strawberries and a can of mandarine oranges. We like basalmic vinergarette or the raspberry.. You can add sliced hard boiled eggs and nuts if you like...

I couldn't really pick any of the categories, because I am always asked to bring something that contains meat, but is a total side item...Callico beans- with 4 different types of beans, hamb, a bunch of seasonings and some homemade sauce of mine...They are a huge hit at all of our family gatherings, and I can make them and take them in a slow cooker...
