Feeling rather proud of myself

Ask:
I'm feeling rather proud of myself. Last Friday I decluttered and cleaned my boys' room. It took all day from around 9 in the morning to 2 in the afternoon and a few hours that night to get the last bit of toys put away. I threw away so much stuff. I didn't save any broken toys that I might "fix" someday. I asked the boys about some things and they didn't even want alot of it. Anyways things are organized the most it's ever been in their room. They share a very small room and we live in a single wide mobile home so you get the picture. My boys are 9 and 6. I felt sorry that they would just be so overwhelmed at times when their dad would make them clean their rooms. Alot of times things got shoved in their closets or under their bed. With no rhyme or reason to any of it. So I had been putting their out of season or clothes to be passed down in under the bed storage units. It didn't work because they had too much. I ended up using one for superhereos etc. and the other one for cars. Then I went thru the clothes and put some in the yard sale stack because my youngest is picky and won't wear some things that my oldest would. That's o.k. I now have two bins in the closet with clothes for later. One of the bins has room for even more stuff for storage. Their bookshelf has their movies on it. I decluttered some of their books also what was left got put in a bin in their closet. Things is sorted and I set up an easy system for the boys to keep it clean. This all gives me motivation to fix the other rooms in my house.

That feels so good, doesn't it?? I cleaned the boys playroom (they have the whole basement for toys) and got rid of 2 55-gallon garbage bags of toys and JUNK. It's so nice down there now that I actually don't mind being down there!
