Okay so that's just the first thing that popped into my head when I read the title of your post so I thought I'd say it.

well, last night i had very strong contractions for three hours, 5 minutes apart each. i was SURE it was time, but i went to bed and thought "maybe i will wake up with a baby here!" (just kidding) or it was nothing. WELL, it was nothing!
I really would like to stick to my scheduled day because this C-section thing is scaring me. So, one week left... ok well, a week from tomorrow. but I decided I am not counting the actual day...

I am a little nervous because the hospital was not very nice to me during my last labor....I came in 6cm and moving ahead quickly and they made me wait 2 hours to get my IV (no one could get a line in me ) I wanted some form of pain relief right away and they told me no way until I completed my IVs in full. I was screaming so much that I scared my first British B***ch of a nurse away and they got me a tender motherly nurse instead. Then made me wait for two full bags of IV fluid to get in me....because I did the normal thing before labor and puked and pooped everything out and they thought I needed water. I think it was normal procedure there though because they delivered for so many illegals from Mexico who just left the desert. I finally got my epidural at 9cm and think I was actually at 10cm but the nurse lied for me because I was freaking out so bad...no one even offered me a shot or anything for pain until I was there for about 3 hours. So essentially Then once the epidural took affect I was ready to push and DD was born about 2 hours later. I pretty much went through my entire labor naturally...except for the end which is when it does not hurt so bad.
To top it off I had a strange doctor deliver my DD and I don't believe he looked at my charts...I think he assumed I was a teenager (I look 16 at 31 and looked even younger 5 years ago)...he tried to scare me from ever having another baby...told me that I would not be able to ever deliver a baby any larger than 6 pounds 6 ounces without a C-section and my DD was born 5 hours after arriving at the hospital with no complications and just a little snip.
My friend who has delivered at the hospital I will be delivering at this time told me that they have an excellent IV team so I will not have to wait for 10 nurses to try to poke my arm to get a line in. I just hope that I can get some form of pain relief right away because I can't handle pain at all. She recommended her doctor so I will be using him. Just hope that a certain doctor that helps him cover nights does not have to deliver my new little one because I know him, his wife and his kids from my DD preschool... and he is pretty cute

Nothing for me yet.. LOTS of BH contractions and my hips feel like they're gonna fall off.. lol! I'm hoping to go on my own though 'cause I was induced with my last 3.. so we shall see.. i'm in no rush with Easter this weekend and my youngest dd's bday at the end of next week... so i'm more than happy to wait another week.. lol!!

Only 4 days!! You must be so excited! The Braxton Hicks have been horrible here... and just when I think they're regular they stop! Are they going to let you go up to 2 weeks over your due date? I hope you go on your own though, its so much easier that way! Keep us updated!! I am having my c-section on Friday, as long as this baby can wait.

I am not due till 6/29/07 - that is when my c-section is scheduled for. I am getting excited but at the same time have so much I want to get done before then. Ok stuff I want dh to do to get the house ready.

Nothing for me here yet... which is good.. lol! I'm more than willing to wait 'till at least next weekend.. my date has been changed 3x.. so who knows..
I do have to set up my new bassinet though.. can't wait to see it all set up! It's white eyelet lace, with lots of dust ruffles... :love:
