Do you make your bed everyday?

Ask:
I have never done it in the past..more than when company was here or we had guests coming over! It just was not important to me. Well, with my housecleaning bit going on..I have started making my bed and my littlest girls' beds. (the others are old enough to at least pull up their covers!) On Monday, I was in a hurry, and I didn't make the girls' beds. Abby, my four year old, came to me at lunch time, and said, "You forgot to make our beds today!". I was shocked that she even noticed I had been doing it. I asked her if she liked me doing it, and she said yes, that it made her room look prettier! So, I guess the kids really ARE noticing all the work I have been putting into the house! It was a silly thing, but it felt good to know that she had NOTICED! (and yes, we did talk about HER being able to help Mommy by "making her bed" herself!)
Answer:

NO!!!! The only time I made my bed since I left home was when I lived in a dorm room. Then I did it because that was the only space we had, so it needed to look neat. I do sort of pull the covers up, but my kids never make beds.

Ummm.. more like never.. But.. to my credit, my dh works midnights.. so I get up, and he goes in. So not much of a point.. lol!
Answer:

I do every day, even when I am sick or in a hurry! It's just part of cleaning up after myself. It's depressing getting into a sloppy bed at night. I came from a mother who wasn't the best at domestic things and I always felt a little less important than other people.I loved going over to other peoples houses where everything was in it's place. So it is almost an obsession to keep my house this way. Besides they say your house is an expression of how you feel on the inside.
Answer:

I do it everyday, before I go to work, I bought a whole bed set, with all the pillows so I put them all bakc on the bed and make it look nice, otherwise why bother buying the pillows! I love the look of a nice well made bed at bedtime.
I have been known to drag dh out of bed so I can make the bed and get all the pillows off the floor!
Answer:

I only do it if company is coming over. I consider it a waste of time. This may be weird but my husband and I don't use the same blanket. We're both under the same sheet but I use a thick comforter and he uses a light knit blanket. When I make the bed, it messes our system up. That's my excuse and I'm sticking to it!
Answer:

No, it is actually healthier to NOT make your bed.

When we're in bed our bodies give off a lot of moisture. Dust mites love to feed on our dead skin cells and they adore humid environments. So making the bed as soon as we get up actually creates ideal living conditions for dust mites since the covers trap all that moisure near the mattress.

Okay, so I live in a high desert and humidity here is NOT a problem (quite the opposite!) and we don't tend to have a huge dust mite problem (they have a hard time living in this environment) BUT that's my excuse and I'm sticking to it.
Answer:

Yes. Making my bed just helps my day go better. Even thought it isn't a very big thing, it makes me feel good even if it's the ONLY thing that gets done durring my day.
Answer:

Yes, for the most part we make our beds. Except today when I RAN out of the house to get the kids to the dr before they left the office at noon. My husband is also a swing shift worker so many times it's 3:00 before he gets up. Sometimes I make it then and sometimes I don't. But when he works days I almost always do it. My 5-year-old is required to do it except when I change his sheets and the 2-year-old wants to do it. So I let her even though it doesn't look like I want it to.

Absolutely
