This last one was for my youngest ds's 3rd birthday and we had the party at the firehall and the firemen came and gave a safety talk and then took all the kids for a ride on the firetruck!
I couldn't help putting this one in!

Thanks everyone! I really enjoy making their cakes! As for the pirate one it was really simple honestly. The bottom is a 9 by 13 cake and the ship is made out of a pound cake so that it would stay together easier! I just used the pirate ship accessories from their imaginext toys! And the "sand" is just crushed up graham crackers!
I ordered a 4' by 5' black pirate flag with a skull on it and hung it up on the front porch for when guests showed up! Now it is hanging on their swingset fort!

Those are great! I cannot bake for life of me. My dh is a firefighter and even though I have girls that is a great idea for a birthday party....I am surprised I didn't think of it.
