When we bought our home, I replaced almost all the lights w/ the energy saver lights. It is hard to tell what the savings is since we have always used them in our new house, but I feel better about it for the environment!!

i have been buying a pack every time i go to the hardware store i now only have my ceiling fan lights and my vanity lights oh and my flood light outside wich i see they now make them for this so by summer all mine should be switched over.

We've been switching out the light bulbs ourselves. It has been hit and miss but the man at Home Depot was very kind with his help! Our local Home Depot had this really cool display that showed the different types of light that the different bulbs put out and then took it down!
