Chili recipes

Ask:
I was wondering if anyone had any good chili recipes that they wouldnt mind sharing. I want to make some but Im pretty clueless about it.
Answer:

Oh me too! But not to spicy.
Answer:

My DH and I really like the Chili Magic in a can from Bushes. You add your own ground beef and a can of diced tomatoes. I like to add a small diced onion and I also sometimes stretch it with an 8 oz can of tomato sauce. We like the mild but it also comes in medium. I think it's better than some of the homemade recipes. Add some Texas Garlic Toast from the freezer section of the grocery store and you've got an easy meal.

Sorry I don't have a homemade recipe for you.
Answer:

If I am in a hurry I just.....
brown 1 lb of hamburger
add a pkt of chili seasoning (sold by the gravy packets)
2 cans of chili beans (or any beans you want...pinto, kidney, etc...)
2 cans of tomato sauce
simmer for about 20 minutes and your done.

If you have a little more time this recipe is pretty good and makes a ton! Can even throw it in the crockpot...

Answer:

Chili is pretty easy-You can either do it in the crockpot or on the stove after browning your burger, onion, green pepper and celery(add how much and what ever you want you can never mess it up).

Add in kidney beans, diced tomatoes juice and all.Add water if needed and if you have a can of tomato sauce or paste add that in too.Add in chili seasoning packets 1 or 2 depending how spicy you want it.Add salt and pepper to your burger when browning it.Or add chili powder and taste it to how you like it.

Sorry I don't have measurements.I have made for so many years I just toss things in.Sometimes if I have some salsa left in the fridge I will toss that in too and left over corn is good too.

Can serve it with cheese, sour cream, green onion or regular onion diced and some corn chips or tortilla chips. The possibility's are endless!

Good luck with it and let us know how it turned out and what you added to yours.
Answer:

Thanks for the ideas, I liked putting salsa in I bet that would heat things up a bit, I will let you all know how mine comes out when I cook it(if it ever cools down enough to have chili)
