We had school today & we all overslept! Made it to the bus in time though, it was one of those, "c'mon get up, get dressed, let's go, no, don't lay back down, c'mon eat, run & brush your teeth, hurry, get your coat, don't look at your brother, c'mon, hurry up, don't fight, GET in the van" kind of mornings around here!

I drove dd to school thinking she needed a few extra min!! its funny we only had a week off but its still too easy to like sleeping in!! (Tho we didnt too much I had an extra kid 2 of those days!!_

Our elementary kids had the day off today, but the Jr./Sr. high kids all went back today. In a few hours all of them will get up and head off to school. Our spring break was about 2 weeks ago. Today was actually the start of the 4th quarter, which means the count down is on to the last day of school now in days rather than weeks for the kids. I say 9 weeks, the kids correct me and say 40 more days.
I agree, not having to get up and fight to get everyone moving is such a glorious thing that I am looking forward to summer break, but only for that reason. With summer break comes my own count down of how many more days til they go back!
