Ask:
Do you find that the storms coming in have an effect on your SN child? I have noticed DS goes a bit more off spectrum when a storm comes in. He was a mad man yesterday and it is snowing today.

Why is that????
Answer:

Like a cat, any child that has sensory issues can feel a barometric change. They don't realize what it is, but feel the change in the air pressure and humidity. People never believed I could smell rain, but I, and my sinuses, eyes, and head, were always right. We tend to tune it out as we get older because we have to be "normal".

Also, they could be antsy because they know they'll have to stay inside!
