So in order to get this house (the outside too!) in tip top shape again (my oldest is having a slumber party in 30 days- so the clock is ticking for me! )- I have been "binging and purging" the house. I already spring cleaned every room (except mine and DH's)- but I started to work in there yesterday- I got 2 bags of stuff to donate. I went into the oldest room and got 3 more garbage bags full of toys and clothes to donate again (I just did her room about 3 weeks ago!). I want to get every room to be in perfect shape and keep it that way (my house is clean for the most part- but I am constantly having to find homes for everyones messes that they made )- and I mean if they go into our junk drawer- that is perfectly organized! I have just been going through each room and just chucking things into garbage bags- it's kind of nice! The house is starting to look more empty as each day goes by- which I absolutley love!
For the most part- I think I am just getting sick of having to clean up after everyone and figured if I get rid of a lot of stuff- that will be less of a mess they can make and less mess for me to clean up! My youngest is the better ones in the household but the oldest is by far the worst! This morning she had toothpaste all over the vanity and in the sink- she is 10- there is no excuse for that. Sorry for the rant- I am just disgusted with my household.

Great job on all the purging! I feel it is a constant struggle with 3 kids to keep up with all the "stuff" We get through Christmas overload only to have birthdays, Valentine's and now Easter! Not to mention all the clothes I need to go through of my own! You are not alone stevesgal

Kids dont play with 100 toys they dont wear 100 outfits and we dont revisit 100 magazines and old books.......but these are just some of the things alll of us seem to accumulate-I love purging!!!!!!!
