We have at least 4 boxes of unopend Cheerios and 3 of Corn Flakes. Does anyone know any recipes for these items? I don't know why we have them, but we do and neither are cereals we eat in the morning.

You can make rice crispie treats using cherios. I've seen alot of recipes using corn flakes as a breading. Rachel Ray has one called chicken toes, it's a kid friendly recipe and very good.

2 c butterscotch chips
1/4 c peanut butter
3 1/2 c cornflakes
Melt the butterscotch chips over low heat and add peanut butter.
Stir in cornflakes. Drop on waxed paper and let cool.

4 Tbs lime juice

Mix cornflakes,sugar,and melted margarine until well blended . Press mixture into a 9 inch pie plate. Refrigerate until set.
Mix cond milk, lime juice, lemon juice and yellow food coloring until creamy. Pour into crust and refrigerate until set.
Preheat oven 450
Beat egg whites until foamy. Gradually add 6 tablespoons white sugar, continuing to beat until stiff peaks form. Spread meringue over pie, covering completely.
Bake in the preheated oven for 5 minutes, or until meringue is golden brown.

1/4 c water
3/4 c peanut butter, divided
4 c Cheerios
1 c salted peanuts
1 c semisweet chocolate chips
1/2 c butter
Heat caramels, water and 1/2 cup peanut butter on high for 1 minute in microwave,stir. Microwave 1 minutes longer or until melted.
Add cereal and peanuts; stir until coated. Spread into a greased 13-in. x 9-in. x 2-in. pan; set aside.
Microwave chips, butter and remaining peanut butter on high for 30-60 seconds or until melted. Spread over cereal mixture. Refrigerate before cutting.

Peanut Butter Drops
1 c light corn syrup
1/2 c sugar
1c peanut butter
1 tsp vanilla
4-5 c cornflakes
In large saucepan bring corn syrup and sugar to a boil. add peanut butter. Remove from heat, stir in vanilla and cornflakes. Drop by heaping T onto waxed paper. Let set up. Store in airtight container.
