School Uniforms

Ask:
How many of you have schools were uniforms are required? Even though I love clothes I was always pro-uniforms in schools.

I've been thinking about how much it would simplify things if I adopted a homeschooling uniform policy when they are older. It would be so much easier to shop and they would need less clothes! Of course that would take all my fun away of shopping for cute outfits at gymboree, so I'll have to wait until they outgrow the store!
Answer:

I wore uniforms to school and at the time I HATED it!! now Im glad I wore them!! it was so easy to get dressed!! and I owuld add a piece of jewelry to make it my own!! so I had personality within the acceptable range!!
Answer:

None here and I am so glad! My boys would hate it and I think they should be comfortable!
Answer:

none here either...but I am one that thinks it should be mandatory. You have no idea what my son went through for wearing...GET THIS...NIKE clothes !!!He went from nice clothes to wanting to dress like a BUM to AVOID getting picked at...
Answer:

Our kids currently attend a school with uniforms and they *are* super easy but you know, they're expensive! We have to buy from one particular store with the school crest on everything etc When we lived in Europe, they didn't have a uniform at the school they attended and it was great, so easy. We moved, so next year, my kids will be attending a different school, no uniforms! I can't wait!
Answer:

As a kid myself, we had no uniforms.

Our girl's attend a Christian private school, however, no uniforms. They do have a stricter dress code ie: no jeans or low, sleeveless strappy tops, and dresses/skirts on Friday's.
