Ask:
I was visiting in someone's home the other day and she had a shopping list pad with magnet on her fridge. She just had to check off which items she needed for the week. She also had a menu plan with the days of the week listed and a place to fill in the menu for the day. I asked her where she got them and she said I looked it up but they no longer sell the menu plan!
Does anyone know here I can get this type of thing? General note pads with magnets for keeping organized.
Just wondering if any of you simple living organized bunch might be using something like this already?
Answer:
If you can't find one, you can always print something similar from your computer, take it to Kinko's and have them make a pad and then glue a magnet on the back.
Answer:
They selll magnetic note pads at the dollar stores, walmart and target for $1-$2 a piece. Walmart sells a planner type thing called "Go Mom" planner that I bought and it's made strictly for moms. It has a place for DNA and pictures of your child, budget planners, menu and grocery planning, car pool schedules and everything else under the sun you can imagine.HTH

A friend of mine just got me this fantastic notebook of notes, it is made by Real Simple. It has a pad of grocery lists, to do lists, 'just a note' pad and 2 small pads (they are all post it type pads). They come in a thing 6x 8.5 notebook and it has a little pocket folder on the inside cover and coses with a band around ,it...Not exactly what you're looking for with a magnetic option, but I thought I'd suggest this one too, b/c it fits right in my purse and goes everywhere. I love it!
