I made this last night. Very, very good and simple to make. I used ground chicken that I bought on sale. I only used 3 seasoning packets (2 on the meat and 1 on the noodles). I also only used 1/2 bag of mixed veggies and I added some green onions and red bell pepper. Given how cheap this meal is, I was happily surprised at how tasty it is. This was the first time DH has ever had Ramen noodles and he loved it as well. I've added this meal to my recipe book.
1lb ground chicken = $1.67
4 pkgs ramen noodles = $0.64
1/2lb mixed veggies = $0.45
Green onions = $0.50
Red bell pepper = $0.10 (bought on sale a month ago for 99 cents. cut it into strips & kept frozen. only used a few strips)
Total cost of meal = $3.36
My family of four can't eat anywhere for $3.36.
