Just a bummer!

Ask:
We've been considering moving. We will be completely debt free by next year (not including our mortgage). I know it wouldn't be wise to make any moves at this point. We need to save for a down payment and such. But that doesn't keep us from peeking in the real estate papers. Today they had our dream house listed. It was 45 acreas with a 5 bedroom country home right in the middle a nice Amish community. It was listed for $200,000. I know in some parts of the country that's not a lot of money, but here it is and for us it is double what we should be looking for. <sigh>
Answer:

Sorry, keep looking the right one might need a little more TLC but may be fall more in your price range.

I suppose to some in my area 200,000 is not a lot but for us it would be.
Answer:

I know just how ya feel....between diff incomes for people and different real estate markets it's hard for people to sometimes feel for each other.

But I do feel for ya......... 45 acres

A dream house for us came on the market to 2 years ago and they wouldn't budge on the 120,000.... and it needed alot of the expensive stuff all new windows,carpet..new garage door etc.

I cried!!!

I'm sorry for you.But also believe things happen for a reason...so try not to get too down.
Answer:

I know how you feel. I love to look at the Real Estate section and dream! I have found, however, that I have more than one dream house. So, chances are you will find another "dream house" when you can finally afford it.
Answer:

That sounds incredible. I'm sorry it's out of your price range.

I can totally understand how you feel, except that everything here is out of reach for us. We've looked seriously a few different times and just to get into something nice but not great (not even anything we'd love) we would have to be able to afford in the 450's. House hunting always leaves me disappointed. I can't wait to move somewhere that we can actually buy something.
Answer:

I feel for you. I know we are in a house that we have very much outgrown.
Our dream house is still out of sight at 410000 (almost 3 times as much as our current house). We both desperately want to move, but I don't think we can afford to put a down payment down and the housing market just sucks. Plus, we have only lived here two years. Wish we would have rented and then bought something now.
Answer:

I'm sorry, but you will find another. It's so funny how much the difference in RE is around the country. Here you can't get a Townhome less than $400,000 so 45 acres for 200,000 to me is amazing! When you are ready maybe you can find 20 acres for your price!
Answer:

That stinks... sounds great!!!!
Answer:

I know what you are going through. I was looking at houses a few months ago, and found one that was $195,000 which is waaaaayyyy out of my price range.. but it was such a great buy with lots of land. I was really wishing and praying for lots and lots of money!!

The right house will come along for you and your family, you just have to be patient. Hard, I know, I sometimes think I am the most impatient person in the world!
Answer:

For 45 acres of land that is a great price! Well, here it is anyways. We'd love to find something like that. We have one 1/2 acres of land, a 3 br, 2 bath ranch style house and it's $120,000.
