Ask:
We have been saving and planning for improvements to the house since we moved in. Granted most of the money came from the sale of the old home, but we have added to it over the last 6 months. There are a lot of items that are "MUST be done" improvements ( I know that it will add value to the home), but there were a few "wants" too.
However, now that the time has come, I am having a hard time setting up appts to get things done because I don't want to part with the money ~ and the wants seems to be not so wanted anymore. It seems like we have worked so hard to have it all gone so fast.
Is anyone else like this?? It certainly does give you a different view ~ saving first makes you think about if you really do WANT the items, or if you were just following an impulse.

Oh, I do this! I'm afraid to spend! Then when I spend, I want to spend more! I HATE bill-paying time. I need that money to stay!
