Since I have been keeping closer track of my money, I realized that I pretty much spend some money every day!!! Alot of it is things I don't even think about. The car is empty, get some gas. On my way somewhere and pick up a drink, or "Mom, I need a dollar for this". Wow!!! I can't believe it!!! I am going to try not to spend any money tomorrow!!! (Of course I have to work all day, so that might help )

I haven't spent any today - but that's because I have been on here. If I go out of the house, then yes ~ I spend every day. Most often it's on a pop from the gas station to drink as I run errands.

I think I spend money every day that I have to leave the house. I have a bad pop habit too. I need that caffeine pick me up when I go to work. Then I have those days when it seems that all I do is spend - fill up the car, buy groceries, diapers, etc. I know a lot of my daily spending habits will disappear when I begin staying at home (I'm not going to drive anywhere for a 20 oz pop!)

I do not spend $ everyday. I go days without spending. I am not one to buy things when my kids want them. When I am out I never buy a drink unless- I need lunch. I sometimes bring a soda or water from home- if I think I might want a drink.

I bring my own drinks, too. For awhile I was getting a $4.00 coffee at work once a weekend till I stopped and realized I can buy 24 cans of my pop from Walmart for that.
I run errands (groceries, bread store) once a week. I'm pretty good about sticking to my list. Keep a detailed spending diary-write down every last penny spent. Then total it at the end of the month, group expenses into categories, and it might shock you how the much the little things add up.

No, I don't spend money everyday. As a matter of fact, I carry very little cash on me for this reason...so that I won't stop and get those little impulse buys. Usually if I am out spending money there is a good reason.

As long as I'm home I'm good- its when I am bored and wandering around Walmart that I get into trouble. I've started keeping some waters and kids drinks in the car in case I forget to grab them and we want them. Even if its sweltering out I can get a cup of ice for cheaper than a drink!!

Happymom, I was just thinking this same thing! Every day I feel like I spend money on something. I am going to try writing down ALL my spending next week, so I can really see where the money goes. I have a feeling I am going to be shocked at all the little things......

Heavens no. I don't get out that often. I get out of the house for walks and to take the kids to and from school (by walking) but we have no stores in walkable distance and being in a one car family I only get out a couple of times a week. I guess having 1 car, saves us in more ways than we thought!
