Today at work, a lady was telling me about her son, and I couldn't help but cry. She said that when her son was 14 months old while he was at daycare, he fell into an unattended mop bucket and was not discovered for some time. Her son is now 6 years old and is still on life support. She is trying to pass laws, and go in front of congress to help her cause so that this doesn't happen to anyone else. I know just about everyone here is a mother and that they can say that this is one of their worst fears. She gave me the website in honor of her son, and she told me to pass this on. I usually don't, but I felt compelled by her message. It is a really great thing that she's doing. If you want to find out more, you can go to Anthony DeJuan's website, and if you want to do more, you can sign the petition.
Here is the website:
Has anything like this ever happened to anyone you knew or yourself?
Answer:
No one I know has ever suffered anything so tragic. My heart goes out to that family.
