Ok well... my daughter is 4 weeks old as of today! And alright.. my nipples are still a little sore from breastfeeding (just cleared up thrush we both had, recently) and last night... I was going to feed her, and she had her little hands up by her face so of course one was right on my breast... my husband and I didn't see at first that she was right by my nipple and started to close her hand.
So yeah... she grabbed on to my nipple! Baby Death Grip! I was holding on to her wrist so she couldn't try to pull away with her hand while holding it cause that would have hurt so much. My husband was laughing even though he didn't want her to hurt me and I was laughing so much my eyes started to water. I was so scared she was going to really pull and hurt me, or dig her little nail right into my sore nipple.
That was scary. Lol

Oh I know your pain literally. DD would try to do that to me all the time. It was very painful when she got ahold of it good.

I'm so glad you got the thrush under control. Ouch! My diva is 20 mos. and likes to take my skin and pinch it while nursing. ow.

Hehehe, I've been there. Its a good thing I keep ds's nails clipped, those things really hurt when they dig into the side of your boob. He always pats it like its his lovey when he's eating, and sometimes he'll grab it and dig in with his nails. (He's eleven weeks).
Just wait till they get teeth!
