I don't know why, but that story line about the old father with alzheimers and his son dying had me sobbing. It just broke my heart. It was horrible the first time when he was standing there and they were telling him his son wasn't going to make it and he was crying so hard and begging him to wake up. But then since he had alzheimers they had to keep telling him over and over and each time he had the same grief as if he'd just heard. God I thought I was going to die it was so sad. I thought it was kind when Luca finally decided to not tell him anymore and let him think he was going to see his son. And then when Luca talked to Abby and you knew he was talking about thinking about his own son's death every day.

I so like Abby and Luca I wish he would change his mind and come back next season. Its the first time poor Abby has been happy since being on the show.

OMG I was crying too, it was just so so sad!! First with him being right there when his ds died then not remembering it happend. Then again at the end. I couldn't take any more. Where is the nurse that Sam had a thing for? DId he leave and is that why she now is going after the cop?

Yeah, I thought it was horrible too!! I kept wondering why he had to tell him over and over. As someone who works with alzheimer's patients, lots of times it is just best to go along with them!!!

I hate that Luca is leaving. Somehow I hope the writers pull out some kind of happy ending or else, I think that might do it for me.
I was also wondering where Sam's nurse/hookup went. He got out of the fire alive and then disappeared.
Can't stand Nela anymore. Liked her much more when she was new and learning. Now that she is married/widowed/hooked up with someone/madeout with someone else/and is still damn so selfrighteous about everyone else. Can't stand it. Or her.
