Ask:
Caleb (age 6) is big into writing notes right now. The other day I got mad at the baby because she was ripping pages out of all of our books and Caleb wrote me a note: "Mom, I love you. You need a nap. Love, Caleb". It was precious. Definitely a keeper. Funny how it is easier to give out that kind of advice than to take it. (though I would love to take a nap sometime!!). He definitely made me smile. I love that kid!

Answer:

I have a 3 ring binder full of all the notes my 2 daughters have wrote me over the past couple of years. We look at them every once in a while. My goal is to collect 3 ring binders full of these notes, because I know in a few years they will either stop, or there will be notes saying they won't be home for dinner-eating at so-in-so's house.
Answer:
I love getting notes from my ds. They are usually so sweet. Even when he is in trouble, he will write a note, or an email, to let me know he is sorry. But the best ones are the ones I get for no reason, just to say he loves me. I will keep them forever.
Answer:
What a sweet note!
My dd (age 6) wrote me one that said, "you are the love of my life." Where would she have ever heard that. But it sure made my heart melt.
