Did my big grocery trip and....

Ask:
I only spent $41.38!!!! This should be my basic groceries for at least 2 weeks!!!! I usually spend about $130 every 2 to 3 weeks. I will be using up alot of my extras at home, but hopefully it will get us through this lean time we are having!!! I even stocked up on a few things that were on sale!

I should add that there are 8 people in my household.
Answer:

OMG! That is amazing!

I used to be so good about coupon shopping, but have pretty much stopped. I even paid FULL PRICE for diapers the last few times!!! I haven't done that in the past 5 1/2 years that I have been buying diapers/pullups.

What was your best buy? Keep posting the inspirational stories to get me motivated again PLEASE!!!!!
Answer:

You're my hero! That's really amazing for a family of 8!
Answer:

I don't use coupons at all. My shopping was mostly from looking in my freezers and cupboards and figuring out what I can make with what we have. I have enough stuff now for at least 15 suppers. I shop sale items and generics. I almost never find coupons that are worth it.
Answer:

That's fantastic. I'm inspired.

Answer:

Answer:

who...who... Good for you!! It's such a good feeling to shop and save. I went today too and got quite a load for less than $20! I'm an avid coupon shopper. Dh is so proud of me! (And I'm proud of myself too!) My jaw dropped to the floor yesterday when my sil told me that she had 2 carts full for 4 people and paid over $300!! oh my word! I cannot imagine! I could come out with 10 cart loads for $300!
Answer:

Way to go! That's a great job.
Answer:

YAY! Go Happymom! Go, Go, Go Happymom!! I tried to do the same thing this time but did not nearly do as well as you did. I only cut our $200 budget to $140...HyVee was having a good sale on some 10 for $10 things. I couldn't (didn't ) resist.
