What crafts do your kids like to do?

Ask:
Today my boys and I made some crafts for the retirement home we're going to visit on Friday. The MOMS Club gets together once a month with the kids to do a craft and then they take it to a home. It's so sweet. We missed the activity so we did some of our own at home.

My boys love cutting and gluing; emphasis on the gluing. They also love painting. The frustrating part for me is having to pull all the supplies out and set it all up to only have them stick with it for ten minutes tops!!!

Next week I'm hosting a "messy kids day" at my house. I got some mural paper and will be putting it on the fence out back. The kids that come can do whatever they want to the paper: paint, color, use their feet, hands or brushes. Or they can use chalk and draw on the driveway. It should be fun!

My boys also helped me make some mini muffins for lunch bunch yesterday. They love baking. They lvoe mixing up all the ingredients and then watching stuff rise in the oven. It's so cute. Our oven light was out yesterday and BOY was THAT upsetting! The world came to an end yesterday (by the way) LOL
Answer:

Glue is their favorite. We make a lot of collages out of pictures in magazines. Painting is fun and they make very good little picassos lol.

Their all time favorite thing to do is Play doh which we cant save but we take a photo of their project to go home with them. (Daycare kids)
Answer:

Playdoh
Color
Finger paint, blow paint, or marble painting (put a piece of paper in the bottom of a tub or container, add paint and a marble, and have your child move the tub around to roll the marble around)
Sidewalk chalk
Paint outside with brush and water
I get out pictures from magazines, coupon ads (pictures of babies, dogs, etc) and she can glue a collage.

I think Luke's favorite is painting. I frequently just let him dig in the art closet (that's why it is always a mess!) and he pulls things out and "creates". He loves the Perler beads, glitter glue and cutting too. I guess he is just a creative kid!
Answer:

Wyatt loves to paint!!!! He likes using brushes, sponges and fingers. He loves cutting too.
One thing we do in the summer is fill up a bowl of water and go outside. He uses a paint brush to paint everything in site with the water. It's simple but it keeps kids busy.
Answer:

Riley loves playdough and coloring. My mom just brought her some of those paint with water books and Riley was just fascinated. She painted for about 45 minutes at a time!!!
