Rest mats for preschoolers

Ask:
I need a new rest mat for my 4-year old who will be going to pre-kindergarten. I would prefer a new one since I also have a one-year old who will use it after the 4-year old is done with it. If anyone knows of any companies or websites I should take a look at, I would greatly appreciate the help. Thank you!
Answer:

If it doesn't have to be a vinyl one, like most kindergartens require, you will find the best ones at JCPenney's...in my opinion, and in the opinion of most of the preschool moms here!! LOL They have a pillow attached at the top, and a blanket attached to one side that they can pull over on them. They also roll up like a duffel bag, and most come with carry handles that you OR your child can carry! We have two of them, both girl ones, but I know they make boy ones, too.

It may be on the less "frugal" side, but I have been eyeing some REALLY cute ones on Pottery Barn Kids. You can have it embroidered with their name for a few bucks extra, and it's on Clearance for $25! Not super cheap, I know-but it's a great deal less than regular price.

Wow, we always used towels.

I can actually remember when I was in kindergarten that the entire class took a fieldtrip to the local carpet store and we each got to pick out an carpet sample to use as a rest mat. Mine was burgundy and I can remember always having dark red shag (it was the 70s, what can I say? LOL ) all over my clothes after waking up from nap time.
Answer:

Try Lillian Vernon - not sure of the website, but I get emails from them and they are really cute. My mom made one for my daughter and she said it was a nightmare to sew - probably well worth the $25!!!
