The back story is about Sun...she discovers that Jin's parents are not dead...his father is a fisherman and mother is/was a prostitiute. Jin's mother blackmails her for 100,000. Sun gets the $$ from her father but her father says Jin will have to pay the "debt" by working directly for him (his right hand hit-man). In the jungle Sun learns from Juliette that if the baby was conceived on the island she will die before the birth. Juliette takes her to the hatch where they had taken Claire and Sun tells her that it may not be Jin's baby, because of her affair. Juliette tells her it is Jin's based on the ultrasound (conceived on the island). So bittersweet news...glad it's Jin's not gald she could die. As Sun waits for her outside the hatch...Juliette goes back and leaves a meesage on a tape recorder for Ben about Sun's pregnancy.
Desmond doesn't recognize the girl from the helicopeter and she is speaking in foregin languages. She is injured and the "other " with the patch eye(the one Locke pushed into the electrical field and "killed"). Stumbles upon them and helps save the girl. They let him go and he tries to steal the satellite phone. When Hugo tells the girl they are from oceanic flight 815 she says "no, they found that plane and there were NO survivors...they were all dead"
